As the UK's only accredited Victims Qualification, this course is essential knowledge for all who come into contact with victims or witnesses, to understand their support requirements, how to manage individual cases with sensitivity and care, and your legal and safeguarding duties toward them. As the UK’s only specialist restorative practice diploma for schools, this course focuses on applying restorative approaches within educational settings to support behaviour, relationships and conflict resolution.


You will learn how to use restorative practice in real school contexts — supporting children and young people, resolving conflict effectively, and strengthening relationships across school communities.


The course combines theory, applied practice and reflective learning, enabling you to build a portfolio of evidence aligned to recognised practitioner standards and supporting progression towards Restorative Justice Council (RJC) practitioner registration.

Hailed as a major step forward for Youth Justice Teams in the UK, panel volunteers can now be fully trained in live online classes that run regularly throughout the year.

Facilitated by experienced panel trainers closely involved in the development and testing of the 2018 YJB panel training update, the course frees teams from the burden of organising training themselves, and aids retention by allowing individual volunteers to be trained and added to rotas in a more timely manner.

If you have several volunteers to be trained, we can also deliver this package directly to your service at any time of year. The course will be tailored to your requirements and your panel members will be trained in live online classes using your own paperwork and processes.
